ABOUT
My Story
I completed my bachelor's in animal science at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and then pursued my DVM at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Upon completion of my DVM, I went to Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete a rotating food animal internship. In 2014, I returned to Canada to pursue my Master’s degree at the University of Calgary. After completing my Master’s degree, I worked in research and extension but soon started my own company. My focus is quantitative and qualitative research, followed by extension activities, as I believe that no amount of research is worth its weight without education and training to implement what we learn through that research.

RESEARCH
I have experience in both quantitative and qualitative research separately and together in mixed-methods research. Our scientific world is changing and beginning to ask the question "why" more and more.
EXTENSION
Without extension, we cannot spread the message of what we learn through research and improve our practices for the sake of our operations and our animals. I have experience in many extension activities from simple fact sheets to organizing workshops.
